May I transfer my license to a different trading account?

Yes. You can transfer your license to a different MT5 trading account at any time.

To transfer:

  • Remove or disable the EA on the old account
  • Open your new MT5 account
  • Attach the ChartsConnect EA and authenticate
  • The system will automatically detect and update your account linkage

If you experience issues, contact support and we can manually reassign it.

How can I manage my instances and licenses?

You can manage your active licenses from the Dashboard → License / Account Management section.

There you can:

  • View all active account connections
  • Remove or deactivate old instances
  • Assign licenses to new accounts
  • Upgrade your plan if more instances are required

How does the expiration date work?

The expiration date is based on your subscription billing cycle.

  • If subscription renews successfully → service continues without interruption
  • If subscription expires or payment fails → live trading and automation may pause, but your account and configuration remain saved

You can renew at any time to restore full access.

What happens to existing positions when I connect my broker?

ChartsConnect does not interfere with existing manual trades on your account.

  • No open positions are modified or closed automatically when the EA is attached
  • Only trades triggered by your automation will be managed
  • You maintain full manual control and can override any automated action

Can I trade my IRA or business account?

Yes — you can connect any MT5 account type supported by your broker, including:

  • Individual accounts
  • Joint accounts
  • Corporate/business accounts
  • IRA / retirement accounts (if broker supports automation)

However, some brokers may apply special trading rules or restrictions. Consult your broker for clarity.

Does ChartsConnect manage margin or margin rules?

ChartsConnect does not control leverage, margin requirements, or broker margin rules.

These depend entirely on:

  • Your broker configuration
  • Your account type
  • Instrument requirements
  • Local regulations

The system only sends execution instructions; risk and margin management remain with the broker.

Can I use multiple accounts simultaneously?

Yes, depending on your subscription plan.

You may run multiple MT5 accounts at the same time with:

  • Multiple Automations (Algos)
  • Multiple EA Tokens
  • Copy-trading followers

Each account runs independently.

Can the trading accounts be on separate PCs?

Yes. You can run MT5 terminals on different computers or VPS environments.

Just make sure:

  • Each terminal has the EA running
  • Each instance has internet connectivity
  • VPS is recommended for stability

Do I need to leave TradingView or Chrome open?

No. ChartsConnect processes TradingView alerts server-side , independent of your browser.

You only need MT5 open on your PC or VPS for the EA to execute trades.
