1. What is the Pattern Day Trading (PDT) rule?

The Pattern Day Trading (PDT) rule is a U.S. regulatory guideline that applies to traders executing four or more day trades within five business days in a margin account. This rule requires traders to maintain at least USD 25,000 in equity in their brokerage account to continue day trading activities.

While Charts Connect operates globally and does not enforce the PDT rule directly, traders using U.S.-regulated brokers must comply with the broker’s PDT policies and margin requirements.

2. Do you charge a fee per trade?

No. Charts Connect does not charge any per-trade fees or commissions.

Our service operates on a flat subscription model, giving users unlimited automation capabilities based on their chosen plan. Standard brokerage or exchange fees set by your broker may still apply.

3. What payment options do you accept (including crypto)?

Charts Connect accepts major credit and debit cards for all paid subscription plans.

Additional payment methods, such as PayPal, bank transfer, or cryptocurrency payments, may be introduced progressively to provide users with more flexibility.

All transactions are processed securely through our online payment gateway.

4. What is a webhook?

A webhook is an automated communication method that allows one platform to send data to another in real time.

In Charts Connect, webhooks are used to transmit trading signals instantly from platforms such as TradingView to your connected broker or exchange account. This ensures your trades are executed automatically — without requiring manual confirmation.

5. What is a strategy or subscription?

A strategy in Charts Connect defines your trading logic — including entry, exit, and risk parameters. Once a strategy is configured, it can send trade signals automatically through webhooks.

A subscription refers to the connection between that strategy and your selected broker account. This link determines how signals are executed, allowing you to run multiple strategies across multiple accounts simultaneously, depending on your plan level.

6. How do I get help with trade signals?

If your trade signals are not executing as expected, you can:

  1. Review your Strategy and Signal Logs within the Charts Connect dashboard to verify alert delivery.
  2. Ensure your broker’s trading terminal (e.g., MT4 or MT5) remains online and connected.
  3. Visit our Support page at chartsconnect.com to contact our technical team.

Our support specialists can assist with troubleshooting, webhook validation, and strategy setup to help your automation run smoothly.
